Michael in the News
My photography has been featured all over the world. I photograph Broadway stars in my studio and they use them for their Playbills, websites, press releases and more. I have two shows coming up where they will be using my photography on the cover of their official Playbill. One of my proudest moments is when my production photography was featured in The New York Times not once, but twice. These were also in print.
Michael produced, directed, and performed in 54 Celebrates Mel Brooks, a sold out and positively reviewed show in January of 2020.
Michael was the photographer for Idina's Carnegie Hall show in December of 2019. Check out these exclusive photos here:
I am the Executive Producer on Indoor Boys seasons two and three, written/starring/directed by Wesley Taylor and Alex Wyse. The series also features Frankie Grande, Carolee Carmello, Sean Grandillo, Krysta Rodriguez, and more. Season two was nominated for 13 Indie Series Awards in LA and we won quite a few including Best Comedy, which you can read about here. Season Three was nominated for 15 Awards and again we won Best Comedy, which you can read about here. Here is where I am listed as Executive Producer both on Playbill and IMBD:
Though no longer associated with Rock the Audition, I was the founding creative director of Rock the Audition Coalition, in partnership with Tony Winner Ali Stroker. You can also read about it on Playbill.
This is the debut article announcing My Broadway Memory's first guests in April. The visual podcast is now on it's 10th weekly episode and already has thousands of active viewers and fans. MBM is one of Broadway Podcast Network's most popular shows.
This is a short film I was the cinematographer and executive producer on. The film went to two film festivals including premiering at the legendary Castor Theatre in San Francisco during the prestigious Frameline43 Festival. It was written and directed by Wesley Taylor and starring Isaac Powell. You can also see this on the IMDB page as well as the Frameline43 page.
